Gold Cup is one of the most fun series of events USFA hosts. There will be 3 separate stages to the Gold Cup series; Stage 1 - October 11-13, 2024, Stage 2 - March 7-9, 2025 and Stage 3 - April 11-13, 2025. One of the cool aspects of this event, is that every game counts! We will also be using Performance Brackets giving teams chances for more games and points. Teams will accumulate points for each event they play in and the totals are tracked. The team in each division that has the highest point total is the Gold Cup trophy winner and will recieve 100 extra points for winning the cup.
Event Locations - Sports Complex at Shadow Creek (13050 Shadow Creek Pkwy, Pearland, TX)and Ballpark at League City (1150 Ballpark Way, League City, TX).
SPECIAL GOLD CUP CHALLENGE - Teams that play in all three stages will get a free set of customs jerseys.
Event Format - 5 game guarantee event - 4 65-minute pool games into a seeded 75-minute single elimination bracket (8U all games 65 minutes)
Entry - $300(8U $250)
Divisions - 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U & 16U/18U OPEN AND C-CLASS SEPARATE WITH ENOUGH TEAMS
PAP - $45 pool and $50 bracket (8U $45 all games)
Awards - 1st and 2nd place - team and individual
Gate Fee: Pearland parks - $7 per day or $10/weekend pass **NEW for 2024-2025 Season - All Pearland gates will be CASH ONLY. Ballpark at League City - 13 and older $10 per day ($5 for Friday night games).
Costume Contest Details: Teams can wear costumes during games or any time they want. Each team that dresses up will need to take a team picture and post it on the USFA TX Facebook page - all teams who want to be considered for the costume contest must have their picture uploaded to the USFA Facebook page no later than midnight Saturday for Sunday judging. There will be one winner for each age group with one of those division winners being chosen as the Costume Contest Champions. The Costume Champions team will receive a set of Costume Champion shirts. Once a winner is selected, our staff will work with the winning team to get shirt sizes to get them delivered to the coach.

**Teams will not be allowed to finish the inning when the home team is up and time has expired, as we have a ball game at this point. This will help keep the event on schedule.

Points for forfeit win 3
If more than 2 teams are tied, head to head will be dropped and we'll move to the next tie-breaker

Note - the bracket will not populate until all of the pool game scores are finished
