  4. Setting a team's discount fee You can set a team fee (even if you're just setting up a DEPOSIT amount). Create the Code (ex: DEPOSIT). Input the amount of the fee (in this case, the amount you want the teams to deposit to save their spot in your tournament) Mark the fee radio button Since this is just PART of their team fee, you'll mark the PARTIAL check box. When the team returns to the payment screen, it will show the balance due.

  6. Setting up a "free" registration Some clubs waive the fees for their own teams, this is how you set up a $0.00 team fee. This is also used on occasions where a prior event was cancelled due to weather. Instead of refunding the fees paid, they pay it forward to the next event. Again, create your code (It can be something like "free entry", "contest winner", or anything you wish, but there are character limits, so you want to keep it simple. Enter "0" only. Don't enter the decimal point and "cents" zeros. The fee won't save properly. You'll still mark the Fee radio button.

  7. Percentage Discount This can be set to any whole number percentage amount (except 0 or 100). Enter the amount, no decimals. Mark the % radio button If you use the default five spots, you're able to add more by clicking the + Coupon codes will NOT save unless the amount is paid online at the time of use. The code will work, and show the discounted amount, but if the user abandons payment, the next time they access the "pay fee" button, the original registration amount will appear. This protects events from people using a coupon more than once, or using multiple coupons. The only exemption is the "Partial" payment for deposit. You're not required to mark this box, but it is recommended. When finished, click Save Fees.
